to reignite the flame that keeps our hearts alive.

The Location

Monte da Orada, an ancient sanctuary, is a haven for individuals seeking to immerse themselves in the breathtaking beauty and tranquil serenity of nature. It invites guests to embark on personal journeys of growth and self-discovery while embracing the transformative power of their surroundings.

At its core, Monte da Orada is driven by the belief that reconnecting with nature, prioritizing health, and embracing sustainability is essential in liberating ourselves from the toxicity of modern life.

With a visionary perspective, we go beyond the traditional roles of a guesthouse, hotel, or restaurant, and instead, create a space that fosters conscious nutrition, permaculture principles, yoga, and meditation.

Situated within the heart of the Odemira woods in Alentejo, South West Portugal, near the border of the Algarve. It is within this harmonious setting surrounded by untouched natural beauty that guests can embark on their personal journeys, discovering inner growth and self-discovery in a truly enchanting environment.

The Facilitators

Alex Wirthl

I walk this path as a man committed to becoming a better version of myself each day. My journey deepened when life brought me powerful initiations — the sudden passing of my father, the burden of debt, and the end of a relationship. What first appeared as loss became an invitation for transformation.

In that moment of collapse, I turned inward. Meditation came into my life, opening a doorway to inner peace and teaching me that real change begins within. What once I sought outside in distraction and gratification, I discovered inside through presence, silence, and awareness.

Today, I share this path with men, walking alongside them as we remember that peace in ourselves creates peace in the world. It is my honor to guide and witness the unfolding of this journey with you.

Miguel Sevilhano

I’m a holistic therapist since 2005. Moved by curiosity, I developed the ability to heal others through my own healing.

Loving to observe the dynamics of nature, my approach is a combination of various techniques in a natural way, blending the ancient and spiritual principles of Ayurveda with the precision of Osteopathy, the gentleness of Cranial-Sacral Therapy, and Breathwork for releasing traumas.

My work goes from 1:1 sessions to group rituals and collective healing journeys. I also facilitate the work for the Sacred Masculine, creating spaces of healthy Brotherhood.

I am a father, a man walking this path of healing with my family and community. I want to give thanks to all my teachers and mentors, who have enriched me in my own healing as well as in the healing of those I serve.

Pedro Collares

I walk the path of a Medicine Man, a father of two, a Sundancer, and a multi-instrumentalist sound healer.

Through my life and journey, I have been gifted with the possibility to share Sound Journeys that open inner landscapes and Ancestral Ceremonies that connect us back to spirit and tradition.

During our days together, I will also offer my music and guide a Ceremony of Sacred Sauna (Sweat Lodge / Temazcal) inspired by the Lakota Tradition — an ancient ritual of purification and rebirth.

It is my joy and honor to bring these offerings into our Circle of men, so that together we may remember who we truly are.

The Food

Delicious, organic and nourishing meals made from local produce from the garden. Quality and seasonal food which reconnects us to our bodies and to the Earth. The harmony with nature will also be found in our plates.

Check-in at 14h on Wednesday the 18th of March.
Check-out from 12h on Sunday the 22nd of March.

Veterans (3+ retreats)

The Conditions

✯ The price includes:

All practices mentioned in the program
Accommodation in the room you choose
Full board (delicious organic meals prepared with love and care from local products — from the dinner on March 18th until the brunch on March 22nd, 2026)
Yoga mat and all necessary equipment for all practices throughout the retreat

✯ The price does not include:

Flights
Return transfers to/from the airport
Travel and liability insurance

✯ No prerequisites. Every man is welcomed.

✯ The Retreat will be held in English.

As the facilitators are Portuguese and German, there will be the possibility of occasional translation in Portuguese or German. You are always welcome to share in the circle in your native language.

✯ Cancellation policy

➳ In case of cancellation by the participant for personal reasons:

Non-refundable deposit

If cancellation happens less than one month before the retreat, the total balance is due

➳ In case of cancellation by the participant for force majeure:

Deposit transferred to a future retreat

✯ Register

1.Before registering, every man must book a call with us.

2.This call ensures the retreat is the right fit for you and helps you choose your room.

3.Only after the call will you receive the link to pay the 500 € non-refundable deposit.

4. Once we receive your deposit, your spot and your chosen room are officially reserved.

5.The remaining balance (facilitation + accommodation) can be paid later — we’ll send you all the payment details and options by email after the deposit.

If, for any reason of force majeure, you can’t attend, your deposit can be transferred to a future edition.
